If you are unable to attend our regular services, we offer an online service every Sunday at 10.45am. This service is broadcast live on our website and can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection. We hope you will join us for this opportunity to worship and connect with our community.

Sunday Services

Sunday services take place in church most weeks at 10.45am. We alternate between services of Morning Prayer, led by a Lay Minister and Parish Eucharist led by our Vicar.

St George’s is a welcoming, inclusive community church, with a strong commitment to social justice, equality, peace and compassion. If you haven’t been to St George’s, or any church before - fear not! Just turn up, as you are and join in as much as you wish. You don’t need to conform to a rigid set of beliefs and it’s fine with us if you have questions, doubts or concerns because many of us feel the same and we’d rather explore these issues together, without pressure. The main thing is that we come to church with a loving and open heart and a desire to follow the kind example of Jesus.

The Open Table Network (OTN) is a partnership of Christian communities across England and Wales that welcomes and affirms LGBTQIA+ individuals. Started in Liverpool in 2008, OTN operates by collaborating with inclusive churches to provide safe, sacred spaces where LGBTQIA+ people, their friends, and families can explore faith and community without judgment

From selecting music and readings to coordinate the flow of the service, we are dedicated to helping you create a fitting farewell that celebrates a unique life and brings peace to those who gather.
